About ExVisium
ExVisium was a Venture Capital funded company started by Edward Breedveld, Klaas Filius and Michael Vermes. The name ExVisium was a combination of Experience and Visual, with the goal to use state of the art 3D display technologies for usage in Retail environments.
In 2001 when this company was started it was very much ahead of time in technology and on the front lines of 3D display technology and content generation. We have developed techniques to create content for both active and passive 3D screens and autostereo screens.
In 2002 ExVisium acquired the distribution right to the SynthaGram autostereo 3D screens manufactured by StereoGraphics. Later StereoGraphics became RealD and is now well known for the current 3D cinematic features and theaters.
